An absolutely beautiful watch….
I have always wanted a Seiko watch like this so when my old Timex of 35+ years finally died, I treated myself to this one. It arrived way before it was scheduled, was extremely well packed, and truly is as beautiful as pictured. Unfortunately for me, I could even begin to understand the instructions so was scared to death to even touch the actual watch! My old Timex gave me the time, which is all I need. I don’t need the month, the day (with multiple languages capabilities), etc. so, sadly, I took it immediately to the post office and sent it back. Oh well… at least I can say that finally had a Seiko… if even for only a few hours.

Great timepiece
I had a Seiko years ago, back in the 70s. I havenât owned or worn a watch in years, but decided I wanted one. I chose this one. I wanted an automatic. It was reasonably priced & you really canât beat Seiko for reliability. I think itâs a really great timepiece & it looks expensive.

Beautiful!My father bought me my very first Seiko watch back in the early 70âs and itâs still working.My mother had an automatic winding one that would still be working today if it wasnât for a lousy watch repairman.I bought this as a birthday present to myself.I needed a watch I could count on that not only looked classy, but also didnât need to be removed every time I hopped in the shower or went for a swim .From personal experience I know Seiko is a quality watch and built to last

After 8 Months of Excellent Time-Keeping
Update 30 Aug 2020 … 18 mos into the saga.I’d written before how it took may calls to get the seller to find,”repair”, and return the watch; that was 10 months ago.From Day One, the watch could not keep accurate time. [With very few exceptions, it’s kept on my wrist 24/7/360.]It’s in its phase where it loses 30-60 minutes overnight, each night.I’ve known the Seiko brand for four decades and this is the first time I’ve had any problems. It’s also the first [and last] time I’ve purchased anything from these people.Don’t think it’d be worth sending it out to an authorized repair center, so I’ll be going back to my quartz while I look for another mechanical watch.

Works great – but only when you wear it.
Summary: good value and a great look that works well with any band. It was running slow for the first week or so but that seems to have resolved itself. Itâs as accurate as I would expect at this price point.The good: watch looks great and fits well on my 7.5â wrist. There is an almost endless variety of colors and styles of straps that look great with it.The bad: not even close to a 40 hour reserve. The best Iâve managed is about 8 hours and thatâs after wearing it for a week straight, talking it off only to shower. One of those days was spent working in the yard so inactivity wasnât an issue.

Compré este reloj dos veces, la primera lo devolvà porque el dÃa de la semana no venÃa en español, la segunda sà que venÃa ya en español. El reloj en sà es una buena compra, una maquinaria automática, con un calibre muy probado, 23 joyas (rubÃes sintéticos, que le dan una buena exactitud para lo que son los relojes automáticos). Al ser de la serie 5 Sport es resistente a los golpes y sumergible a 100 metros (10 bares). El cristal no es de zafiro (por su precio no podrÃa serlo), es mineral pero con una capa de resistencia al rayado especial de la marca llamada Hardlex (también utilizada en los Orient, propiedad el mismo grupo empresarial, EPSON). Puedo dar fe después de un par de años de uso que no tiene ni un solo arañazo. El calibre no es “jakeable” (o sea, no se le puede dar cuerda). El luminiscente incorporado a los dÃgitos y agujas es perfectamente legible en la oscuridad. En definitiva un reloj automático bonito, preciso, resistente y para muchos años, y a un precio muy asequible. Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo. Y te olvidas de las pilas para siempre.Actualización Febrero 2023: después de casi 6 años desde que lo compré sigue funcionando perfectamente, cero problemas y ni un solo arañazo en el cristal. La estanqueidad la he probado muchas veces, en piscinas en el mar, etc. Cada dÃa más contento con la compra.

Achat directement sur Amazon, livrée en marche après les secousses Chronopost.C’est une très belle montre,d’excellente facture,le modèle livré ne comportait pas de cercle noir intérieur,elle est tout simplement dorée,ce qui me convient.Le diamètre correspond à un poignet fin, pas toujours évident à trouver en Automatique,d’autant que le mécanisme sans pile confère un boitier plus épais et donc plus lourd.Un double clic pour régler la date en anglais puis l’heure, il est préférable d’effectuer la mise à date par la rotation de minuit.Les aiguilles et les extrémités du cadran bénéficient d’un dispositif luminescent pour la nuit, plutôt discret.A conseiller pour un port permanent ces montres ne fonctionnent qu’avec votre mouvement, entretien de nettoyage à faire auprès des boutiques Seiko agrées environ tous les 4 ans, la carte de garantie est fournie.Très satisfaite de cet achat, je recommande.
