Fantastic style great bang for your buck.
Love the minimalistic style of the watch, only dislike is I wish battery would last at least three days but I’ll settle for two.

Another great watch from Skagen but let down by battery
Skagen watches I tend to favor more then Fossil due to the size. I have a small wrist so 42mm max is most I can handle. Their Falster 2 I had prior and was a very nice watch. The Gen 6 is a great upgrade. Feature wise it has all the stuff you want from a modern smartwatch: Speaker/mic, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Heartrate, sleep, SPO2 and more tracking features. Battery life is so disappointing. With the always on display off and tap to wake/auto wake I got less then a day usage. I had to turn WiFi off all together just to get the battery from draining constantly. Which is fine since I rarely use WiFi but a $300 watch should not need to have WiFi turned off. Also sleep tracking is a hit or miss. First night tracked well, but 2nd night my sleep start and end time were about two hours off. There is a “auto track spo2” but even with that enabled I could not get the watch to auto track it and the manual readings I did never transferred to Google Fit.I really want a Wear OS watch to go with my Pixel 6 Pro but with all the concerns of this new watch, I cannot keep it. Hopefully the Pixel Watch comes out sooner as I will be jumping on that. For now I will keep using my Sense.

This is a great watch
Great watch, let down by Google not releasing Wear OS 3 for it yet and not fixing their bugs. It is on the list to get Wear OS 3 but they are still only allowing Samsung to have it. Why?The battery life would be good if it was just a little longer, but it charges fast so it really isn’t much of an issue for me to take it off once a day while I am sitting at a desk working or shower time.

I really wanted to like this watch…
First off, the watch looks very elegant. I chose this watch based on the aesthetics. However, that is all this watch has going for it.Wear Os is very buggy and at times, just feels outdated compared to IOS on an apple watch. It is compatible with an Iphone but you cannot reply to messages. The battery life is HORRENDOUS!!! You almost have to disable everything on the watch to get a full days use and you might not even get that.Overall, not a pleasant experience for the price. I will be returning. I wouldn’t even recommend for Android users, there are much better alternatives out there.

ONE OF THE BEST WEAR WATCHES AVAILABLE!
One of my previous watches was a Skagen Falster 3. I sold it and went to the Galaxy 4 40mm and I really missed my old watch. Knowing that Fossil has improved the processor in the Falster gen 6 and noticing Amazon had a sale I purchased this watch. It is fabulous and I have read so many negative reviews I was shocked. Many people do not know how to adjust a wear watch when first setting it up. Wear / fossil should give better directions. Do this. 1. let the watch load and update its software. 2. go to the playstore app on the watch and scroll down to settings and shutoff auto updates. The watch will let you know when an update is available and you can choose when to download it instead of letting it auto download updates. 3. use a good battery saving watch face like the pixel minimal by Benoit Letondor. Glad I’m back to Fossil’s Skagen Falster 6. Super fast, no pausing. Best watch to date. I’m selling my Galaxy 4 which had less battery life and took too long to charge. This Skagen watch is the fastest charging smartwatch!UPDATE: Thought I would share more tips: I have read so many people complaining about battery life. Then I read they have their watch face set to always on! AOD will drain your battery, if you must see your watch face on then use the tilt to wake feature and shut AOD off. A flip of your wrist each time will turn on your screen. Personally, I use touch to wake. Another battery saving mode is to make sure the OK google voice is off. Better to activate OK Google assistant by holding the middle power button. Lastly use the extended mode , set the bluetooth schedule on during the day with your wifi on and bluetooth off at night and wifi left on. The builtin wellness app will give you your sleep data and the watch will only use 10% battery all night.

Looks nice, software is a disaster
Welcome to the world of Skagen! Did you want to turn off the ‘always on screen’ feature, or turn off the ringer? Better not ever charge it, because those settings will get reset. When you try changing power modes, they won’t stick. Custom power mode is not longer a feature in the updated software, so I have to redo multiple settings pretty much daily. Absolute garbage software, these are basic features that should be flawless from the start.

Inadequate battery life
I’ve used a Falster 3 for a couple of years and decided to upgrade to the 6th gen when my battery life dropped under a full day. Sadly, the new model is even worse in that regard.Pros:+ Looks+ Material quality+ Band availability, although my old gen 3 bands don’t fit the new one (22mm vs 20mm)Cons:- Battery life is less than a day in normal conditions, half a day if I use GPS at all.- Settings don’t seem to save properly, usually requiring a restart or two before they are memorized.- My favorite face from gen 3 is no longer available. It’s still a very stylish watch that can go with everything just by changing the band. However, the poor battery life kills it for me.
