Darker version of the Kospet T2 with orange buttons
So there are a lot of companies including Hidamel, Amaztim and Hotmifit selling the Kospet Tank line of watches. The X1, T2 and the M2 are all selling for around $20 on Amazon, and IMHO they represent a tremendous value in activity tracker smart watches. While Kospet offers watches which include GPS, I will focus on the budget watches which do not support GPS.So my introduction to the Kospet Tank began with the X1 when I was looking for a watch to play volleyball with. I was so impressed with the watch, I bought others in the series.So the X1, T2 and M2 are basically the same watch in different form factors. All feature a Titanium case, Corning Gorilla glass crystal, water resistance and drop resistance. All of these have at least 50 days of standby power and about a week of usage so battery life is not a problem. They are sturdy watches. From the customizable Home screen, you can swipe left which lets you select from Sports (about 70 preset sports) (also accessible from the dedicated Sport button), Daily exercise, Heart rate, Blood oxygen, Sleep, Blood pressure, Weather (these 6 can also be accessed by swiping right from the home screen), Messages (also accessed by swiping down) Alarm clock, Music, Breath rate, Breath training, Calculator, Stop watch, Timer, Remote Camera, Find Phone, and Settings. The T2 and M2 also add Call (for making calls through your phone) SOS, and Voice assistant. Swiping up from the home screen shows you the buttons for various watch settings. Some of the functions are named differently in the different watches, but the functions are basically the same.The X1 (left in pic) has a tank case form factor, a metal power button on the right, and sport button on the left. It has a plastic back and a silicone strap. At 50.0 grams it is the lightest of the bunch. This is the slimmest of the three and I would recommend it for sports such as Volleyball. Of note, this does not have a removable strap, so if the strap breaks, you will have to buy a new watch. Also, the screen is smaller, so I find the messages a bit hard to read.The T2 (Middle) is round, has a metal case and buttons, plastic back and weighs 68 grams.The M2 (Right) is rectangular in shape, has a metal bezel and back, but has a plastic case and lugs. The 3 buttons are metal. The third button is a back button which isnât available on the other two watches. This weighs in at 54.5 grams.Any of these 3 watches offer an incredible value. If these were Casio, they would definitely cost over $100. If you are looking for a rugged inexpensive activity tracker (with no GPS), look no further.The T2 is my favorite of the three. It has that classic watch look with screw down bezel, all metal case and metal lugs which wonât break like plastic lugs. Also, it has a very solid feel to the case and if I didnât know better, I would say the watch goes for $150. Highly recommended!
