Purchased in 2011, Great looking, but multiple issues, including screw-down crown broken…
I purchased this watch in April of 2011. It is a BEAUTIFUL watch. I have worn an Omega since 2000, and this is my second high-end watch. What a disappointment. 2 months after I got it, it failed to keep time correctly. I contacted Amazon, and they set me up with Swinford Jewelers. I mailed my watch to them, and got it back a few week later – and it still had an issue – they said that probably a spring got magnetized (over my head stuff…). So I had to ship it to them again, and it was fixed after a few more weeks. I started wearing it again alternately. When don’t wear it, I store it on a watch winder. More problems developed. The screw down crown felt weird to me, like it wouldn’t stay in place, and not AT ALL like my Omega Seamaster, which screw down nice an tight every time. I looked around online, and saw that it is a common problem with Tag Heuer watches – there are MANY complaints on this one topic. I still wore the watch, delaying the inevitable cost to repair the screw down crown. But now it fails to keep proper time again, and I don’t even bother wearing a $3K bracelet. My main disappointment is that I purchased this as an engagement watch, at the insistence of my now-wife, then-fiance’. I don’t wear it, and that leaves a significant gap. It was meant to represent something between us.I will have to divert $ from my next dream watch purchase to repair this one. You can bet my next watch won’t be a TAG, and it won’t be from Amazon.com…

Beautiful Watch. Not So Beautiful Warranty.
I have to say this watch is very stunning in person. Clean, great attention to detail, and very solid. However, after 4 weeks of ownership the Crown/Stem broke while I was changing the time. I couldn’t lock or seal the watch. No abuse or hard impacts, I’m assuming it’s a rare defect. The most disappointing part is Amazon’s warranty only covers movement, which means no coverage. Tag doesn’t cover since Amazon is not an authorized retailer. And the warranty company for Amazon never responded on whether they make exceptions. Long story short, amazing watch, but I’m very disappointed a watch of this caliber and price would have such a stupid defect. Even worse was the fact that I ended up paying tag a few hundred dollars to make repairs after only a month of ownership and not having it repaired under any warranty or goodwill.I’ve typically heard good things about Tags, I may have been the unlucky one but it does put the warranty issue into perspective. I’m assuming most people won’t run into this issue but there are some advantages of purchasing something this expensive in a high end watch store vs. an unauthorized re-seller, mainly warranty and after sales service.Best of Luck

TAG broken stem.
This is a beautiful watch! It keeps accurate time. Now the but. The other reviewer is right the stems on Tag’s are very likely to break and they are not covered under the Tag Warranty. Mine broke and I bought it at an authorized seller but still no luck with TAG. I mentioned the issue to a friend who has another model of TAG and he has had the stem repaired twice. TAG needs to get its act together.I loved the watch but the stem issue caused me to down grade the review.
