How did we get our start?
Our origins are shrouded in mystery. Some accounts trace the Unemployed Philosophers Guild’s birth to Athens in the latter half of the 4th century BCE. Others argue it dates from the High Middle Ages.
More recently, historians have pinpointed the birth of the Guild to New York City in the late 90s, when two brothers turned their inner creativity and love of paying rent towards fulfilling the people’s needs for finger puppets, warm slippers, coffee cups, and cracking up at stuff.
If you’re unemployed, how come you have a job?
We are employed, just not as philosophers.

So many compliments
Everyone loves this watch. It makes for a fun conversation starter. The box and guide booklet are also laugh out loud clever and worth keeping. I am a woman with small wrists and have to wear it on the smallest setting, but it looks great on me. There aren’t conventional numbers along the watch face, but telling the time is no problem for anyone familiar with telling time on a watch. I love how the stars along the edges rotate around inside the circumference to mark the seconds.

Beautiful design
I bought it as a gift for my wife and she loved its design. She said it was of very good quality and sweet, the only problem is that it sometimes deviates in time. But if you are going to buy it as an accessory, it is a really nice product that you will like.

Hard to read
Love the watch, but the face should be bigger, easier to read.

Buen reloj
Es pequeño pero se puede observar bien la hora siempre y cuando tengas habilidad de leera hora en relojes no digitales. Lindo diseño, el cuero de la correa es resistente y no es pesado.

The cosmos is cool
This idea of a Ptolemaic watch face is great! The problem is the watch is far too small, its on a woman’s watch scale. I understand that Ptolemaic cosmology is rarely known. The maker thought of a great concept, but poor execution. The timepiece could have been made a talking piece if it were much larger, with an epicycle graphic, and/or better galactic background.

It really is that small.
The watch really is quite small…That said, I love it. I saw all the complaints about the watch being smaller than expected, and even then, it was smaller than I thought it would be.If you dont like a small watch, don’t buy this!! I promise you’ll be upset. If you’re wiling to work with the size, its a great convo starter. It’s eye catching and so far (so good) works great!

Hard to read, barely fits
Would be a nice watch with a slightly larger band and easier to read hands.

My girlfriend is studying astronomy and that can be a kind of hard to buy for market:) Shoe loves the watch, story behind it and especially the second hand movement. Hopefully it holds up better then some of the reviews here have mentioned. Ill update in 6 months or so.

Love looking at a watch/ time piece differently. I use it in my early morning meditations, the sky is far and yet this reminds me we are all connected!

Listed as a 38mm diameter, but it’s really 33mm.,gave it a 1 star for misinformation and wasting my time,no pun intended.its a shame cause i love the look but it’s just way to small..returning it!

How do you tell time with it?
