I am very happy with this watch. It lacks a second hand for precise time telling, but this is a dress watch and not meant for such precision anyhow. That said, it does keep good time, is pleasing to the eye, and a pleasure to wear.

Ich habe rein aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nach einer manuellen Uhr gesucht, weil mein Körper auf digitale Quarzuhren mit nervösen Spannungen im Unterarm reagiert und ich, beim Tragen einer manuellen Uhr, dieses Problem nicht habe.Darüberhinaus ist mir auch das Design sehr wichtig und diese Uhr hat ein sehr schönes und sehr besonderes Design.Diese Uhr hat für mich auch deswegen etwas faszinierendes, weil sie auf eine dezente Art den Blick in das innere manuelle Uhrwerk, mit seinen vielen winzig kleinen Zahnrädern, ermöglicht.Die schmückenden Verzierungen auf dem Ziffernblatt machen die Uhr zu einem schönen Schmuckstück und den Blick ins Innere der Uhr ein wenig geheimnisvoll.Man kann sich von dem, was ich geschrieben habe, selbst überzeugen, denn die Uhr sieht in Wirklichkeit genauso aus, wie auf dem Produkt-Foto.Weil ich die Uhr erst kürzlich gekauft habe, kann ich bezüglich der Qualität und Haltbarkeit noch nichts sagen.Ich habe aber Vertrauen zu der Firma Earnshaw, da diese aus der Tradition einer sehr berühmten Uhrmacher-Familie hervorgegangen ist.

Ordine arrivato con un gg di ritardo, ma ho seguito tutti i movimenti ed essendo partito dall’inghilterra, resta decisamente tollerabile quel giorno in più.Prima di scrivere la recensione ho provato l’orologio per un mese mettendolo alla prova per quanto riguarda la precisione dell’ora e il cinturino. L’ho lasciato scaricare solo due volte volutamente, e sistemato nuovamente l’ora, che rimane inaspettatamente precisissima anche a distanza di una settimana e mezza. Il cinturino è leggermente segnato ma non è differente da tutti gli altri cinturini.Il contenuto mi si presenta così: Doppia confezione Thomas Earnahaw, una in cartoncino morbido e la seconda, più interna, rigida, priva di imperfezioni o graffi; libretto delle istruzioni, garanzia, panno per pulire il quadrante e orologio.L’orologio è più bello dal vivo rispetto alle immagini; movimento automatico, scheletrato, molto elegante con cinturino nero che ne evidenzia i moltissimi dettagli.Ero perplesso riguardo al diametro della cassa (44mm) mi sembrava grosso per il mio polso esile, ma indossandolo ho constatato che era la giusta misura. Ideale per un uomo con personalità e classe fuori dal comune (molte persone preferiscono la praticità degli orologi e le mille funzioni, ma diventando a mio avviso banali e insipidi).A breve acquisterò una scatola del tempo, per mantenerlo in movimento anche quando mi capita di non metterlo, per mantenere tutti i meccanismi in efficienza.In futuro acquisterò sicuramente altri orologi, ma questo rappresenta un buon compromesso per chi ha esigenze stilistiche e meccaniche particolari e non vuole spendere un’esagerazione.
