    Blown away with the comfort.
The biggest surprise is the comfort. I had an older omega seamaster pro and sinn 104 and various watches. Seikos, orient, Seagul, Apple Watches. I equated light weight and fabric straps with comfort. But this Tissot is not light and on a metal bracelet. But it’s more comfortable than the other watches I’ve owned. I still aspire to a Moonwatch and a Submariner. But I am now suddenly not in a rush. This thing is great looking, it doesn’t have the luxury name but low level gold diggers may not know the difference between this and a flex watch. Blingy, simultaneously classic and modern, 100m water resistance, 80 hr power reserve, cheap/durable movement. I think I will use my Apple Watch for 3rd world countries and work outs. But probably be a one watch guy otherwise. I didn’t know watches could be this comfortable. 2-3 seconds slow/day so far, I’m not sure if that will continue. I think that is good enough where I will only have to reset the time only when I change the date on 30 day months. Maybe I will set it a minute fast to compensate. First Watch I’ve purchased where I have zero remorse. – Sept 8Quick update. 1-2seconds slow/day over 2 weeks. I’m about 25 seconds behind in 2 weeks. When I set it on the the 1st of October I will set it 2 minutes fast so I will be slightly ahead of time until I set it again on December 1. I had the links adjusted so it is slightly loose in the morning and fits perfect when I get into my day. I am surprised at how much my wrist size varies. If there is one thing I would change about this watch it would be to add a micro adjustment in the clasp. Everything I said when the watch was new to me is still true. I have a Seagull 1863 and it always needs to be wound and the time set. The automatic in the PRX is so nice that it is making me question if I want another mechanical wind watch with a low power reserve like a Moonwatch. I may just get a Submariner and trade my blue PRX for a PRX in a lighter color (like teal) so my 2 watches look very different from each other. And wear them on alternate days. That would be a super nice 2 Watch collection.

The Definitive Swiss Automatic, Under $1,000?
I have a modest watch collection; everything from budget Pagani-type pieces on up to about the $1,200 range and I appreciate, but don’t seek out more expensive watches ($2k and up). I prefer a well-rounded collection of everyday pieces between $200-$600 that I could easily replace if one were lost or stolen. With that in mind, I think the PRX is absolutely the best swiss watch money can buy in the sub $1k range (Hamilton’s Khaki series coming in a close second).Everything about this watch is right on point:Styling– The PRX perfectly captures the current trend of stainless steel integrated bracelet watches, without feeling like an AP or Nautilus wannabe. The dial is interesting and well-executed, the case is a perfect mixture of brushing and high polish, and the bracelet is one of the best I’ve seen in this price range.Fit and Finish– I feel like I may have difficulty with this category, as I purchased mine from Amazon Warehouse as an open-box return. As such, there are some small scuffs and scratches which are definitely not Tissot’s doing. However, I can absolutely speak positively to the standards of fit and QC that Tissot has in place; the dial, the applied indices, the hands, the bezel… top to bottom, everything is superb.Movement– An absolute home run. Swatch Group’s Powermatic 80 is a certified gem. Everything you need, nothing you don’t, all with a stellar power reserve, great reliability, and admirable accuracy (I’m seeing about +3s per day.)Brand– Tissot is close to my heart, I’ve had several and always feel like they capture the allure of what people associate and love about fine Swiss timepieces, but deliver that romance at a reasonable cost, for everyone to enjoy. Case-in-point, the fact that they offer the PRX in auto and quartz, shows their dedication to the “everyman Swiss watch.” (speaking of, if you don’t care about the waffle patterned dial of the Powermatic 80 model, by all means, check out the quartz version.)As I said, I don’t think you can do better than the PRX, sub-$1k, and perhaps, even a bit over that, depending on your tastes. If you are on the fence, don’t hesitate, pick a color and click that checkout button. You won’t be sorry.

Beautiful watch, Go for it! 10/10
The pictures don’t do it justice, it has a much more polished look in person. The 40mm was a nice change for me – I occasionally wear an Apple Watch and this was a nice change having a slightly smaller watch. This truly feels like an even more expensive piece. The comfort was also unexpected, it is 5/5 on comfort. Be aware you might need to buy the link removal tool kit if you don’t already have one as this shipped with all the links attached, and I had to order the tool set for $9.

    A great value
This is my first Swiss mechanical watch. I have been thrilled with it. The bracelet catches light in a pleasing way. The links are polished between each other. The dial looks good and has some iridescence in it that is hard to pick up in pictures. The design is very “me too” genta-esque. It truly has made me stop looking so longingly at the RO and nautilus. Pretty good for a $700 watch.

    As good as advertised!
I have been wanting this watch for a while now after seeing all the watch reviews posted by all the experts in the field. They all say this watch is about the best there is in terms of a sub $1000 piece. Just looking at it, you would think this would definitely be above the $1000 price threshold but it is not! The quality is amazing, build is great, and that blue dial is GREAT! Especially in the sunlight this thing shines. This is a great watch to add to any collection.

This is a standout watch that both looks and feels luxurious. The blue dial is striking, and the overall design exudes a premium vibe. The strap is phenomenal—comfortable, durable, and well-crafted. The watch operates quietly and smoothly, adding to its appeal. Overall, it’s a solid purchase that combines style and quality beautifully.
