Thick and confusing to use
I really love the look of the watch! I love that itâs mechanical but also a smart watch and runs 6 months on a charge. Unfortunately thatâs where it ends.I like the size in width but It is a very thick watch. It feels light and comfortable with the fabric on rubber band. The buttons work well and have a great feel. The display was easy to see, read, and understand.The problems for me were with the connectivity to my iPhone and limited uses for the tech. How often to you need a compass and barometer? Those are cool for sure but you really donât need those. Thereâs no heart rate monitor but I really donât need that either. You can track a hike, run, bike ride, and weight lifting. But you canât change those on the watch. You have to use the phone app, which was easy to use but not as convenient as my Apple Watch which allows me to add workouts on the fly from the watch. I go from weight lifting to treadmill to stair stepper.The connectivity distance is very limited, about 10 feet. Versus my Apple Watch which allows me to leave the phone in the kitchen and wonder the house connected. Even to the garage and sometimes outside in the yard.If it werenât for the connectivity I would be tempted to keep it. The Apple Watch Ultra is better, cheaper, and thinner. Too bad, I really love the look of the Tissot.
