Poor quality control, Chucks smaller than Marked
I received the HEDAPAI No. 5537 chuck set for removing the back on my Rolex GMT Master 16750. The set listed the largest size as 29.5 mm which corresponds with my watches dimensions. Unfortunately, the 29.5 chuck in the set is too small after verifying the size it measured 28.2mm. Maybe it started out at the right size before they nickle plated it. I’m not sure. The smallest chuck is marked 18.5 but measures 17.3. Not very good quality control.

They only fit a couple of my watches but there great tools well made as I mentioned fast service great service

Seems high quality but didn’t fit any of my watches
This seems like a high quality watch case opener however, it didn’t fit any of my watches. It seems all of my watches were in between sizes out of the 6 dies provided. If it would’ve fit any of my watches, it seems like this would’ve done a great job at making it pretty easy to remove the backings however I can’t say for sure since I couldn’t use it.

Work Alright
This watch case opening kit is a very basic product. It comes in a plain box, and has some various attachments to help you open up a watch. There are better options out there, but this one seems alright given the price.

Unfortunately I never got a chance to try this tool set because it didnât have the 2 bigger sizes I needed. So I had to return it but, taking a look at the set, it looked to be a quality built and very reasonably priced

This is a very nice set of sockets for opening the back of watch cases. It’s meant to open the back of a watch that has a screw mount case.The sockets come in 6 sizes (18.5 mm – 29.5) for the various watch back sizes. The sockets are highly polished – my spouse commented that they’re really shiny. They have a heavy feel. From my kitchen scale the smallest socket weighs 24 g and the largest socket weighs 27 g. The bottom of the socket has tiny cuts along the inner edge that provide a grip to the watch back cover. The top of the socket has a diameter size marking and fits the turning handle.The turning handle is 20 cm long and I found it provided plenty of torque. The turning handle fits into the socket hole and stays in place with a ball friction locking mechanism. It has a ribbed-like handle to provide non-slip grip. I tried the socket on my friend’s Rolex and found the tiny cuts along the socket’s edge matched and fits into the tiny cuts found on the back cases of Rolex watches. This is a great tool if you need to remove the back cases on Rolex watches.
