A watch winder is a device with an electric motor that can wind your watch when you are not wearing it. Due to their limited power reserve, automatic watches usually run down in two or three days if you stop wearing them or winding them up.
When your watch stops, you must reset the time and wind it up. If your watch has additional functions (like date, moon-phase display, perpetual calendar, etc.), resetting them may take a lot of time and require certain skills. With an automatic watch winder, you can easily keep your watches wound and ready to go!
Fancy Brick watch winder description:
The 45 winding programs provide compatibility with any watch models. You can choose the number of turns per day from 650 to 3600 TPD in combination with any rotation direction. There is an electronic controller to count every turn for supreme winding precision. 3 rotation directions available: clockwise, counterclockwise and bi-directional (mixed). In the mixed mode, the rotor rotates clockwise and counterclockwise alternately. The rotor is very quiet. You can hardly hear it spinning. The rotor stops at the same position after each winding cycle for a better display of your watch.
The watch pillows are made of soft polyurethane and will never scratch your watch or bracelet. The pillows fit watches with straps and bracelets from 6.9” to 8” (17.5 to 20.5 cm) in girth. You can use the watch winder for men’s as well as women’s watches.
The stackable design of Fancy Brick watch winders allows you to build winders for multiple watches using add-on units like bricks. One AC adapter in combination with Fancy Brick Accessory Board can be used to power a set of 12 watch winders. The electrical contacts on top and bottom surfaces provide power distribution among all items in stack. Accessory boards and add-on units are sold separately and do not include AC adapters.

Great winder at a reasonable cost!
Read all the reviews, compared product specs and features and finally decided to give this winder a try.I could not be happier with my decision as this winder is an absolute gem. Has worked flawlessly and near silentlysince it arrived. I’m 68 years old so MY ears may not be as keen as yours. My only, only negative comment is that the orange led on the front of the unit is quite bright, especially in a dark room. Simple enough to remedy with a piece of electrical tape.Stackable design is a plus for those needing multiple winders for their collectionWill be asking Santa to bring me another winder and an accessory base for Christmas.

So Far So Good
I researched watch winders quite a bit to find the perfect balance between price and quality…and I think this is it. You can spend less than $50 on a watch winder, or you can spend hundreds, or even thousands. In my opinion this is more than I intended to pay, but as low in price as I dare go to get quality. Go higher in price, and it’s diminishing returns. I’m not sure what a high-end Wolf model can do for double the cost that the Boxy can’t . The Wolf is made in Germany versus the. Boxy produced in Taiwan. The Boxy has a quality Japanese motor that’s a must-have for these. I’m sensitive to noise when sleeping, and it’s quiet. Some may hear the faintest of a whisper from a distance in a dead quiet room. But nothing that would disturb you – most will hear nothing. Ambient noise from outside your dwelling is louder. It offers 15 turns per day (TPD) settings via sliders on the bottom – more than I’ve seen from any competitor. A 16th sets it to move constantly, which is not recommended. You also get 3 direction settings: clockwise, counterclockwise, or both. These options will accommodate the winding needs of every automatic watch. It always returns the watch to the right side up position when stopped, which cheap models won’t do. A power button on the front easily turns it on or off. Some have complained the indicator light is too bright, but I haven’t found that to be the case. I can barely see it in my darkened bedroom. Another cool feature is these can be stacked with connectors that allow one cord to power several if you add to your collection.Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. The only question that remains to be seen is long-term durability. We’ll see how that goes and I’ll report back if there’s a problem. They provide two spare belts for the motor, which appears to be the most common wear item. If there’s one con, it’s that I sprang for the faux leather surface and I find it’s underwhelming compared to the plastic version. You can barely tell the difference. Skip it and save $10.

Silent, reliable, nice
Looks and works as in description. Nice design, works really silent, easily configurable. The only thing which I miss is power off button. If you don’t use it then you have to unplug it which isn’t convenient at all.

Works great but…
Working great so far. Read the instructions! I have mine set to the lowest TPD which is what my watch recommends. I currently have 2 watches. One you can wind and the other you have to wave around for 30 seconds, per instructions, to get the movement going. Both say TPD between 500 and 750, so I have mine both set at toggle 4 which is the minimum TPD of 650. Now the only issue I have is the pillow/cushion, it’s too small! I have a large wrist and I’ve had to put some foam behind the watch back to make it fit snugly and not flop around. So far so good. If I get more watches I’ll get the plate and more add-on units.

Short review of this Winder.
I seldom, if ever, write reviews.I am, howeve,r liking this winder. It is small. It is silent. It looks great on my Ham Shack desk.It is designed to always stop in the same position. So it also doubles as a desk clock!Too bad I don’t have a few more Rolex’s so I could try the stacking feature.Michael T73

Best Buy value for money.
Well built, stackable and electric motor so quiet you wonât even notice it turning. Comes in different colors to match your preference. Will definitely add class to your watch!

Not for large wrists
I didnât think I have big wrists – my wrist measures 7.25 inches exactly. However with the cushion turned sideways to accommodate larger bands, my bands donât clear the inside cylinder – which unlike other higher end units does not rotate. As such my leather band dragged against the hard plastic inside, which will surely ruin the band over time. Just too small in there. Cool unit, love the power switch on the front, the stacking with power through the feet is genius, but they need to be bigger and better made. Its very lightweight, slides around easily, and doesnât feel very secure – it feels very cheap and looks it too (maybe the leather version is better in this regard?). Note it comes with extra drive belts in the rear and is meant to be user serviceable which is a nice touch (or does it means it uses low quality parts?). Looking at the instructions to replace the motor/belt doesnât give one much comfort that thereâs any EM shielding in there though – not sure if this unit will magnetize the hands over time? Returned it and went with the Barrington instead ($100 more but feels like $100 more too). Lots of potential, hopefully they improve it / beef it up or make a higher end unit because the concept is great!

Note to People with Large wrists
If you have a large wrist and you fear that the band will scrape the inner cylinder – rotate the watch and put the strap against the 2 u shaped holders that move with the watch. This is the only limitation of this design I have had to overcome. I have $1000 winders that also have issues so this one is a bargain. I purchased the previous model 8 years ago and it is still running well.
