Very positive initial impression, great finish and works awesome
I just got my first Automatic Mechanical Watch…..it cost a fortune. All my other watches are quartz. I learned quickly that if you don’t wear the automatic mechanical watch regularly, it will stop running until you wear it for a while. What a pain!This winder is effective, and very handsome. The pillow you set the watch on to rotate has multiple sizes and is of a very high quality.There is no sound. I ran it on batteries and then on the included AC adaptor and both were silent when running.The negatives are both my fault. One, is that this a solo winder for a single watch. I should have bought the multi-watch box. Two is that the single box only has 1 mode. It runs for a few minutes, stops for a few minutes then runs in reverse for a few minutes. While this is perfect for the watch I have, the multi-watch boxes have additional features where you can select clockwise, counter clockwise and the interval.I took off zero stars for my two faux pas as you could have seen this in the item descriptionOverall, a very nice winding box and you will be happy with it.

I bought myself a Rolex for my 40th birthday. I donât wear it on most weekends so I was finding Iâd have to reset and wind it on Mondays. I had seen these before elsewhere, but they were much more expensive. Iâm so happy to report that this thing works wonderfully! Itâs virtually silent, looks great on my countertop, doesnât take up much space, and keeps my watch wound when Iâm not wearing it! The quality is exceptional, especially for the price point. I would definitely purchase again.Also, I saw some reviews saying it doesnât work or only works intermittently. Itâs meant to spin for a while, stop for a while, spin for a while. Itâs not meant to spin 100% of the time.

The winder is beautifully made. It does the job – it will keep winding a fully winded automatic watch. Just make sure it is a dual sided automatic winding watch.The opening of the winding bed and the pillow are a bit too small for a large heavy watch.It is certainly worth the price and I hope it will last much longer than the very short 3 months warranty.It does 15.25 turns per a two minutes cycle CW or CCW. With 7.5 cycles per hour it will do some 2750 turns per day. That is a lot and i hope it is not too much.I bought a new Frucase double bed winder from Ali Express. The one that can be connected to another winder. To my surprise I found out that it needs a 5 Volts power supply while the one i bought from Amazon works on a 3 Volts power supply so they could not be connected. Now i understood why the Amazon purchase was supplied with a wall charger!Anyway, if you intend to connect a few winders together, make sure you buy the 5 Volts units that are supplied with just aUSB cable and have two power ports – for input and for output. Frucase does not explain this and doesnât mention it in their description.

Great winder with dual power supply
Winder works as expected and you canât beat the price. Unfortunately the pad that holds the watch in place is too small and my watches all flop around when winding and actually touch the window with each rotation. If I leave the box open there is no clearance issue but I donât think I should have to do it that way.Other than that itâs great! It does wind both clockwise and counterclockwise and my watches wind in both directions. If yours only winds one way you might think about getting a winder with different settings.

Works great and it saves me the hassle of winding everyday
This winder had a good price and good reviews, so I picked it up in black. Iâve only got a couple of automatic watches right now, but was tired of making sure they stayed wound if I wasnât wearing them. This winder looks nice and works great. It have no problem fitting my 40mm Seiko Cocktail and Orient Bambino. Itâs extremely quiet, so I can run it through the night with no disturbances. Iâm completely happy with it!

Product works…but only lasted 14 months
This product worked nicely for the first year, however after 14 months the watch stopped turning. Upon examination, the plastic gear holder broke apart under normal usage. The company refused to replace it since it was past the 12 month warranty. Very disappointed that this item did not last very long. I’m staying away from this brand for my next purchase.

Good quality for the money
This was the lowest price I could find for an auto-winder. My ladies Rolex Oyster Perpetual would go dead if I went more than 48 hours without wearing it. What I like best about this device is that it is almost silent. It’s very sturdy as well. I’ve photographed it with a tube of mascara so you can get an idea of scale. It does not rotate continuously. It rotates for 2 minutes, then stops for 6 which I like (no danger of over winding the watch, if that’s a possibility). The center piece that the watch goes around has 2 layers of padding that I had to remove in order to get the clasp on my watch to close. It’s still snug but I have small wrists. I don’t see a problem with fitting a large gentleman’s watch in this box.

Good, But Flawed
It winds well and keeps my watch going. That’s the good news. However, the lid’s spring hinge broke (outside of the warranty period, of course) and now the box doesn’t open or close all the way and is kinda stuck in a ½ way open/close position.
