My first few weeks at Zenith Academy were hectic. I made friends, but also enemies, and got myself into a death duel.
Our triumph from defeating the dungeon’s first floor boss was short-lived, however, as a rather grim notification popped up.
What did it say?
A colossal beast and its swarm of bloodthirsty monsters was headed our way. That was the bad news. The good? We had time to prepare. I have my own party now, made up of a feisty earth girl, a naïve but lovable moon elf, and a larger-than-life giantess. Who also happens to be a princess. We need to find a fifth member to round out the party before it is too late.
What do we do?
Cultivate strength. Form alliances. And hope we’ve got what it takes to save Sklava City.

Even better than the first book!
I haven’t read a lot of Cassius Lange so I was unsure about this second installment of Zenith Academy. Turns out that it was a needless concern. This was better than book 1 and I was fully engrossed by chapter 2. Super exciting battle scenes. No overly done adult sexy times, and not overly crunchy. For me there is the right balance of all 3 that keeps me focused on the book instead of wanting to fast forward past those parts. Very well done and excellently written and performed.Do I recommend this book? Absolutely!!! My recommendation is high enough that I’m going to try out some of his other books on the strength of this series.Next up is Wolf Pack which is non harem. When the writing is good, sexy times are just icing on your favorite cake.

a GREAT series! whenâs book 3 coming out???
I debated about starting this series because the Blurb wasnât appealing. I was stuck at an airport with Book 1 already downloaded and decided to start reading. It was great ! – fascinating characters and plot and gifted writing. So, after finishing Book 1, I quickly downloaded and read book 2. THEN I realized there wasnât a book 3, 4, 5, etc, yet. Darn!!!! I hope Ms Lange continues this series. Itâs a winner

Best/most reasonable RPG point system Iâve read so far.
This book is lots of fun. Fast paced w/ details. Good characters for a rpglit book, though dimensionality flows and ebbs. Both the traveler and point systems work well, sensible, and not extravagant. This is better than the first book. It fleshes out the prior sentence, giving the first book a more solid foundation. That foundation would have been too much for the first book. Iâll probably wrap around and reread the first book. I recommend, regardless, reading the books in order.Very much looking forward to the next book.

A wild ride of an adventure
This story has a little bit of a lot of things. It has cultivation elements it has DND elements it has adventure it has intrigue it has monsters it has beautiful women great enemies great friends and challenges galore for our characters. The main character is not infallible and he’s definitely not OP and I found myself a little bit angry at him here and there but he is a good main character. The different characters both the good ones and the bad ones have definite personalities separate and the way they interact with each other gives a sense of reality and I for one can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens next.

The book is good, I found the final battle a little too long but is a personal taste.What I don’t like is the pseudo cliffhanger at the end of the novel. Isn’t a true cliffhanger because our heroes have won and the city is safe, but I like a more ordered conclusion for an episode of a series.
